All-white police oppression? Not so much! Black, Hispanic, Asian, and maybe a token white – a police force which looks like Oakland!
The Miami Herald underscored the point that the prosecution “never proved their case“, and they failed to convince the jury that Zimmerman was the aggressor, or even negligent. Zimmerman was relieved, but showed no jubilation, while outside the courthouse and across the country, the protest mobs were ready and waiting to express their ‘disappointment’, because their leaders hucksters had convinced them that an injustice had occurred and Zimmerman was guilty.
Inevitable protests sprang up in Sanford, in Miami, and across the country, including a raucous one in San Francisco, but we had to leave it to Oakland, CA, frequent home of unruly mobs, to show how the oppressed react to their oppressors by vandalizing stores and police cars, and setting fires. Only quick reaction by their white overlords racially diverse police force prevented widespread riots and looting. I want you to look at that police photo, provided by Reuters – does this look like white oppressors? Why does Oakland, CA erupt again and again as race hucksters persuade their sheeple that they should rise up against the racist “pigs”? Are they so easily led?

Is it time for the black community to ask themselves whether Jesse and Al, the Justice Brothers, will ever improve their lot, or whether it might just be time to take Star Parker’s advice and get off the Democrat dependency plantation?
Inevitably, Al Sharpton, who never met a hoax he didn’t like, is leading the charge for “justice for Trayvon”, as if justice wasn’t done last night in that Florida courtroom. Worse, the NAACP is demanding that Eric Holder’s misnamed “Justice” department pursue a civil rights case – our law doesn’t permit double jeopardy for an alleged crime, but our lawless government can always find a way if they don’t like the outcome. I would have considerable admiration for Obama and Holder if they resist the siren calls to find another way to “get” Zimmerman, but I won’t be holding my breath!
Update: Some of the threats are getting out of hand, as we hear of demands for retribution against the jurors and their families- sick! (Caution on this link – crude n!gg@ language – and yes, that is their term for themselves.)
Second update: Aaron Goldstein over at the Spectacle Blog, posited that Sharpton was delighted with the verdict, because it gives him a stage from which to demagogue. Talk about dancing on graves! Goldstein:
Al Sharpton called the verdict “an atrocity” and “a sad day in this country.”
But from where I sit, I think Sharpton couldn’t be more delighted with the verdict. The reason I believe this to be so is because an acquittal puts Sharpton in his element. An acquittal gives Sharpton an opportunity to be the center of the media spotlight to tell the world that America is still a racist country. A demagogue must have someone or something against which to rail. Sharpton couldn’t feign such outrage if there was a guilty verdict.
