On Tuesday evening, over 300 NHGOP faithful turned out to welcome the new RNC chairman, Reince Priebus, and to get the party’s fundraising of to a good start for Jack Kimball. In addition, the event honored retirning chairman John H Sununu for his work rebuilding the party after the disastrous years of Fergie.
Many state luminaries and a majority of the presidential PACs graced the event with contributions, Rick Santorum came to mingle during the reception, and Herman Cain sent his chief of staff, Mark Jon Block, as a show of solidarity with Reince Priebus. Note: Mark was AFP state director while Reince was GOP state chair in Wisconsin, and together, they KICKED ASS!
On the other hand, John H Sununu was a no-show, sending his sons to pick up the award while he and his wife vacationed in California.
The dinner kicked off with a prayer, the pledge, and with the the national anthem performed by "The Average Joes", a barber-shop quartet.
