Poison Pill ‘Christians’ Huckabee and Santorum show at Trump Rally
Billed as a rally for veterans, it was really just an event for Trump to grandstand separately from the main debate, and along the way he sucked in a couple of temporary accolytes desperate to appear in competition with the main debate on Fox.
Huckabee and Santorum have both been so sore that Cruz is winning over “their” evangelicals in Iowa this year, that they’ve sounded a lot like Trump in their attacks on Ted, wasting energy that they might have used to eke out a reasonable showing in the Hawkeye Caucii.
Wisest line of the night – Jim Gilmore, who skewered both of these losers with one shot: “I’m not about to go across town and carry the coat for some billionaire!”
