President Obama

A Short Message From President Obama

I know.  You’re tired of hearing messages from President Obama.  But this is important.  In fact, it may be the last message you will ever need to hear, because it sums up not just his entire Presidency but every talking point of the modern Democrat party.   [jwplayer mediaid=”20729″]

Proud of President Obama

I would have been prouder still of President Obama if he didn’t use our soldiers as political pawns. Because the Democrat controlled Senate has refused to pass a budget for more than two years, government funding is being authorized by continuing resolutions. When Republicans tried to rein in President Obama’s irresponsible spending demands, President Obama threatened a government shutdown and the withholding of salary, disability and death benefits, and other payments to our soldiers, even those in combat with dependent families.
I guess soldiers shouldn’t feel singled out since President Obama also threatened to have social security payments withheld. Apparently payments for foreign aid, bureaucrats, subsidies, bailouts, pork barrel spending, and President Obama’s travel, etc., are all higher priority to President Obama than paying our soldiers and seniors.

No Debt Ceiling Increase without Cut, Cap, and Balance

Neither President Obama nor Speaker Boehner tell the full debt story. They try to scare us by saying that if the debt ceiling is not raised, our credit rating might be lowered. But President Obama’s plans to increase our debt by at least $1 trillion annually for the foreseeable future is a bigger and definite threat to our credit rating. Our already significant interest payments won’t be affordable. China and credit rating companies warn us that we are creating too much debt. It is just a matter of time before our huge, growing debt to cause our credit rating to fall.

Obama to Blame if Social Security Checks Withheld

Our government funds thousands of programs that should be eliminated or severely cut because they provide little or no value to American citizens. Here are a few examples: $2.6 million to train Chinese prostitutes to drink more responsibly, promotion of rural tourism in Lebanon, $12 million to promote economic growth in Lebanon….

Maybe the House Got the Message

Despite alarmist claims about not raising the debt ceiling, the Secretary of the Treasury can dispense its approximately $2 trillion revenues on a priority basis. Our country need not default on our debt or fail to pay the military, seniors, the poor, or other critical obligations UNLESS OBAMA’s administration CHOOSES NOT TO MAKE THOSE PAYMENTS.

Newt at Ovide’s May 25, 2011

Newt is brilliant. He is experienced. He has been attacked by every media source, and he usually responds very well. More importantly, even in the face of severe attacks, he has persisted doing the right things. He has taken time to consider alternative solutions to many of our problems. He demonstrated ability and commitment to conservative principles while Speaker and on most things after that time. People know Newt. He is one of several Republicans who could make great American Presidents. It seems to me the question is, “Can he regain the trust of conservatives?”

Democrat Scapegoats

Claims that the rich and corporations are under-taxed are intended to divert attention from Democrat excessive spending and unconscionable deficits.
