“Even if I want to take (guns) away, I don’t have the votes in Congress,’’—Barack Hussein Obama

During his press conference today, President Obama spoke briefly of a Tax
Obama and Biden Bitterly Clinging to Assault Weapons Ban Turnabout IS fair play. Obama ACCUSED us to clinging to our guns and Bibles – as if either is a bad thing. Now, with Harry Reid at the Senatorial helm, ‘Bam and Biden may be clinging to just a dream. Nice to finally see a … Read more

I couldn’t believe it when I read it. The White House on Thursday launched an audio series to give Americans the sense they’re along for the ride for some of Biden’s behind-the-scenes moments. Dubbed “Being Biden,” the series features photographs of Biden from events that aren’t part of his public schedule. Viewers can listen to Biden narrate … Read more
If Joe Biden makes a gaffe about domestic violence against women and the entire media industrial complex can hear it…will they make a sound? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=-tMwBseyToU
Joe certainly doesn’t like AR-15s and has been telling folks “You don’t need that” (which is one of the tell tale signs of a Progressive / Nanny-Stater: “You don’t need that, I don’t know of anyone who says they need that, and it’s about the quality of life“). Especially the ladies – “git yourself a … Read more
When Government is going to do something, and that something has a drastic impact on a lot of citizens lives and freedoms, isn’t there a moral obligation on the part of those making the decisions to ensure that those actions would actually accomplish a purpose (rather than being just for show – substance over surface)? … Read more
Of all of the stupidest arguments that Progressives use over and over again is that of “if it only saves one life, it’s worth it!”. The hypocrisy is that when confronted with that absurdity with other concrete example of danger (but do not fit the Narrative Du Jour), they grimace and “that’s stupid” without realizing that they have just made your argument for you. Like Joe Biden here to the members of his Gun Grabber Task Force: “If our actions result in only saving one life, they’re worth taking.” (watch here). In fact, one person listed a whole bunch of things that should be banned forever if saving one life was really all that important – yet Progressives never would…
…Versus just being a talking point primarily used in a reducto absurdem way that makes them feel morally superior – but shows how intellectually weak they truly are (too much time in the echo chamber). Especially when confronted with reality; from 10TV.com (reformmatted and emphasis mine):
COLUMBUS, Ohio – A Columbus man said that he fought back when a man tried to rob him at gunpoint in west Columbus Monday night. Kelby Smith, 34, told police he was in the driveway of the home on Crescent Drive just before 9 p.m. when he was approached by a robber. Smith said that he had his 2-month-old in a car carrier and had to shield him from the robber who held a gun at Smith’s head. The suspect took Smith’s money and started to flee the scene as he pointed the gun back at Smith and his child.
That’s when Smith pulled out his own gun and fired at the robber.
The robber continued to run, but police said that a man fitting his description arrived at Mount Carmel West a short time later with a gunshot wound.
Joe Biden, running mate of Obama, is oft heard to say “Obama is dead and GM is alive”. Over at The Corner: “Chris Stevens is dead and the UAW’s pension plan is alive.“ That would be Ambassador Chris Stevens to Libya, murdered in Benghazi. And the GM UAW union workers’ pensions are alive because the … Read more
Not one day in the past four years…

Yeah, I thought it was 82 but here is video:
Since the debate it is clear that there are two camps of different minds:
The insta-polls right after the debate showed the edge Ryan but most of the pundits pretty much said a draw. The question seems to be “battle or war”? Ryan made no major gaffes or mistakes while the optics for Biden, other than for his base, seemed troubling to the undecided – the very people who are being “politically stalked” right now with three weeks to go to Show Time. The polls are still going in the right direction for Romney/Ryan – tomorrow should start seeing the “rolling-averaged” polls showing their results. Then Tuesday – what will Obama do?
Jay Leno goofs on Joe Biden.
I’m playing catch-up, having missed everything that happened in the past 18 hours–VP debate, Town council meeting, a few hundred emails…but this is low hanging fruit. It’s so low that even MSNBC couldn’t help but pick it. Joe Biden, at the VP-Debate (In Biden’s case the V apparently stands for Vaudevillian), said–not once but twice–that … Read more

Politics before principle is bad enough, but when you clearly do not even have any principles its just that much worse.
So here we have serial exaggerator, story-teller, gaff-o-matic, and professional fib teller Joe Biden, blaming Paul Ryan for spending on Iraq and Afghanistan-while claiming he never voted to fund them himself.
See? Joe is special. He’d never vote to fund those wars….except that he did. Both of them.

Thanks Joe! “I was recently at my local gas station and asked a guy named Joey Danco. I said, ‘Joey, how much did it cost to fill your tank?’ You know what his answer was? He said, ‘I don’t know, Joe. I never have enough money to do it.’” Gas was $3.17 when Joe Biden … Read more
Tim posted this on media bias, but there are parts too good to leave to the chance that you’ll follow the link to IBD (which you should.) It wasn’t like he (Quayle) repeated the mistake in all 57 states, or more precisely in Beaverton, Ore., in May 2008; or while traveling on the “Intercontinental” railroad … Read more
From the Weekly Standard– amidst speculation that Joe “Gaffe Machine” Biden has been having far too many Joe-moments, we bring you today’s schedule. (on the jump…)
We know Biden is not doing the ticket any favors.
So is it time to bring on Hillary–though she and Bill can’t stand the Obama’s and the Obama’s can’t stand the Clinton’s either…but for the sake of power a Democrat will do just about anything. Or is this just a sit down and straighten out Joe kind of a day?
