The incumbent democrat, Carol SEIU-Porter, has no supporters out front at 7am, none on the side, nor anywhere else until after 8:20 when one of her staffers shows up (the debate is set for 9 am) and discovers that not one person is there to support Carol. A few frantic cell phone calls later and they manage to wrangle 5, maybe 6 people to come and hold a sign in support of Carol–of course the only car with CSP totems in it had a New York State license plate on it.
