At last night’s Nashua Board of Aldermen meeting, the aldermen debated an ordinance to put new restrictions on public comment at public meetings. They discussed banning public comment that is “rude or profane.” City Attorney Steve Bolton warned the alderman that such a ban could be ruled unconstitutional.

This is an ongoing problem with Facebook that they won’t acknowledge by actually DOING something. Oh, they’ll issue a non-apology apology. Say it was a mistake or that an “algorithm” screwed things up. Except that the vast majority of mistakes and the screwups involve conservatives taking it in the shorts.
The City of Nashua has required masks indoors for months (except for the ‘crats in Town Hall, or so I hear). Not one of the surrounding communities has a mask mandate. So, it might surprise some that today Nashua has gone code red from a COVID19 infection spike.
Both Facebook and Twitter do have us in their sights – and our traffic has taken hits because of that as they have throttled us. No matter, I’ve always maintained that I don’t write for the hits (although I’m happy to see them). I write about what either amuses or concerns me.

No one has been charged, and there’s no evidence yet to substantiate who was responsible. Still, a Minnesota Trump supporter’s home was vandalized, their garage set on fire, and vehicles destroyed. The graffiti at the scene included a Symbol for Antifa, ‘BLM,’ and ‘Biden 2020.’
In the interest of keeping its army of quarantined creepy human censors (COVID19, RIOTS, FIRES), Facebook has them write algorithms. Crawling digital book-banners that seek out content to flag as fake, false, or in need of ritual progressive purification. But they don’t always work as planned.
