Exposing “The Grand Narrative” and The Long List of Lies About Kyle Rittenhouse

The acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse has unleashed an unprecedented storm of outrage from the entire alliance of 21st-century elites, a dramatic exhibition of power not often seen arrayed against a single individual, much less one 18 years old and non-political.

By “elites” I refer to the dominant majorities in today’s academic, entertainment, scientific, military, big corporate, big government, and of course news industries who shape and control “The Grand Narrative.”

What is The Grand Narrative? It is the proposition that the United States has outlived its usefulness, that it is irredeemably broken, that it has hopelessly failed, that it is systemically Racist, Sexist, and non-binary-gender-phobic. That it can no longer be allowed to play any kind of leading role in the world, that it should be totally destroyed, burned to the ground, and re-built phoenix-like from its ashes.

The Grand Narrative proposes that “In God We Trust” was always a lie, that “E Pluribus Unum’” is a false hope, and the dream that “our children will be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin” can never ever come to pass until the systemic racism that plagues our country is forcefully torn out by the roots.

The philosophers of the revolution and the engineers of The Grand Narrative are the academics, descendants of a long line of Marxist-Leninists who have infiltrated our colleges and universities since the Bolshevik revolution.

The foot soldiers of the revolution are the Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and other radical leftist revolutionary organizations.

The spokespersons of the revolution are the big corporate news outlets powered by big tech media and supported by the leftist entertainment industry.

The cabal of Big Government socialists and Big Corporate rent-seekers rounds out the revolutionary cast of characters.

It’s not hard to imagine The Grand Narrative surrounding us day in and day out. It is taught in our colleges and universities; it is taught in our major corporations; it is taught in our military; it is promoted by the scientific community, and the entertainment industry, and the news industry; and it now shows up in our K-12 schools.

Since the Kenosha, Wisconsin riots of August of 2020, the elites have repeatedly told us that Kyle Rittenhouse was a “white supremacist” who left his home in Illinois, crossing state lines carrying an assault rifle, intending to commit mayhem against peaceful Antifa and Black Lives Matter protestors at a rally in Kenosha for Jacob Blake, an “unarmed black man killed by a white police officer.”

That story resonates with the left, as it supports The Grand Narrative.

Unfortunately, there is not one fact in that story, not one.

Joe Biden, candidate for President of the United States had called Kyle Rittenhouse a “white supremacist” and a “domestic terrorist.” That accusation was repeated endlessly. Rittenhouse, a white man, killed two other white men and injured a third, all in self-defense — they were trying to kill him.

Rittenhouse was accused of traveling from Illinois to Kenosha with an illegal short-barreled assault-style rifle for the sole purpose of stirring up trouble.

Turns out his father lives in Kenosha and Rittenhouse long had connections in the town, including a job as a lifeguard.

Turns out the rifle was admitted by the prosecution to be legal for a 17-year old to carry in Wisconsin.

Turns out he borrowed the rifle from a friend in Kenosha, with whom he stayed overnight after work, never crossing state lines.

Turns out Rittenhouse and his friend spent the next day in Kenosha cleaning up graffiti and offering to “protect” three used car lots from further damage that coming evening.

Turns out the “peaceful” BLM and Antifa “protestors,” who had shown up days earlier armed with rifles and handguns, were wreaking destruction on the town each night.

Turns out these “peaceful demonstrators” burned down parts of Kenosha to the tune of $50 million damages.

Turns out Jacob Blake, the “victim” of the police shooting being protested, was an accused felon who admitted he was armed with a knife when approached by officers.

Turns out Blake refused commands to drop the knife. Turns out the police shooting was reviewed by state and federal law enforcement who declined to issue charges.

Oh, and it turns out that Jacob Blake was not killed — and is alive today.

Fifteen months later, despite the best (unethical, illegal?) efforts of the state prosecutors at his trial, bolstered by the unrelenting leftist corporate media coverage hourly blaring out the elitist story, Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted. This could not be allowed to stand — the Grand Narrative was threatened! Horrors!

Around the world, news outlets are still reporting that Jacob Blake was killed by police and that Kyle Rittenhouse was going unpunished despite killing black protestors in the streets of Kenosha.

The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee called on the DOJ to review the court decision, repeating on the floor of the House Chamber the lies of the elitist story.

The President of the United States, within an hour of making it, walked back his statement that we must accept the verdict of the jury, declaring himself “angry and concerned.”

Blatant misinformation about the case is flooding social media and TV networks. Unhinged phrases like “white revenge” and “white vigilantism” dominate the leftist media.

Support for Rittenhouse, however, is being suppressed on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media.

While it may not be surprising that there is outrage on the left, the strength and the over-the-top nature of the reaction is disturbing.

The leftist elites have been playing the “long game” for most all of my 75-year lifetime. But for them to react as they have means they feel they can get away with it. Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth in the minds of the willfully uninformed.

The left judges that there are a sufficient number of the uninformed that they will come out ahead. They may be right. Look for more and worse between now and the mid-term elections next year.
