Brookline, NH – On June 3, 2020, Diane Pauer filed a declaration of 2020 candidacy for State Representative Hillsborough County District 26 (Brookline/Mason). Diane released the following statement:
“I am proud to announce that I am running as a Republican to represent Brookline and Mason in New Hampshire’s House of Representatives.” Diane said, “The election this November will inarguably be an extremely important election for both our nation as well as our state. Over the past two years in New Hampshire, we have seen the current majority in Concord vote for legislation that unambiguously seeks to erode the New Hampshire Advantage and will ultimately destroy our New Hampshire way of life.”
“In this election, we need to elect Republican candidates who are willing and able to pass meaningful legislation, confirm qualified nominees, and work to protect the rights of the people of New Hampshire. Instead, if Democratic candidates who want to fundamentally change our state for the worse are elected, then freedoms will be lost, opportunities will disappear, and prosperity will be at risk for the people of New Hampshire.”
“As a state representative, I will be committed to safeguarding longstanding New Hampshire values. I firmly believe in the guiding principles of the New Hampshire state constitution; individual liberties such as the sanctity of life, free speech, right to bear arms, and property rights; civil rights; limited and transparent government; fiscal responsibility and security; no new taxes; deregulation; economic and job growth; educational excellence and school choice; healthcare freedoms; military and veterans’ support; right to work; election reform and voter integrity; and personal responsibility. These principles and ideals are the foundation upon which unlimited opportunity is created and prosperity for all Granite Staters becomes achievable.”
Diane concluded by stating, “The future of our state is in serious jeopardy. In the New Hampshire House of Representatives, I will work with other members to fully restore and secure the New Hampshire Advantage, to preserve all that is great about our state, and to protect our future and the futures of our children and grandchildren. I will be a strong voice for the people. As a Hillsborough County District 26 State Representative, it would be an honor and a privilege to represent the communities of Brookline and Mason in the New Hampshire House.”
