Nashua Democrat Jan Schmidt's "Cancel Movement" cancels itself out. - Granite Grok

Nashua Democrat Jan Schmidt’s “Cancel Movement” cancels itself out.

Our hosting site has agreed with me. They are closing the “SHUT GRANITEGROK DOWN” complaint by NH State Rep and Nashua City Alderman Jan Schmidt.

She said that we were abusing her and that we were nothing but a “hate speech site.” They should shut us down. Instead, they just agreed to close the complaint.

Free Speech via the First Amendment.  Pesky thing, that is. Especially to those who can’t stand opposition and dissent which used to be, during the Bush era, the height of Patriotism, according to the Left.  Good times, good times.

Screws up the Narrative. So here is what went on:

Hi Skip,

We forwarded our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Polices to the complaining party, along with a form where these can be reported. We have yet to receive anything further from the complaining party regarding the merits of the complaint. The form can be found here: https://www.liquidweb.com/contact-us/abuse/

In terms of process, we need a link to specific content along with the portion of the Terms of Service that the complaining party asserts the content violates. If this is received, we’ll evaluate it and make a decision on how to move forward.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Best,

<redacted>

AmAZING! Granitegrok had the same problem. Here’s the process, just follow it!

Seems like Schmidt either doesn’t like rules at all (she wants what she wants and she wants it NOW – OBEY!) or realized that her “complaint goose” was cooked. That it was a turkey of a political stunt in the first place.  And I told them that as well:

Hi Scott,

>> we need a link to specific content

Heh! That’s effectively what I told her; I never heard back. In the mean time, can we consider this call closed?

– Skip

And thus, the final coup de grâce:

Hi Skip, Yeah that’s fine. We’ll close the ticket…

And so the saga ends.

I’m betting she’s thinking “Look at all the extra work I put him through.”

Nah, she actually gave us real easy fodder for content. More importantly, Jan Schmidt has now become NH’s own example of “the Cancel Movement.” And that there are no limits to what Democrats will do to silence those that don’t share their political outlook.

I’ll end with this.

If she was willing to try to do this to us, we who DO have a bigger than average political voice here in NH, what are she and those like her – NH State Rep Liz McConnell (D-Brentwood) – willing to do to ordinary citizens?

What would they do to YOUR Free Speech and your Bill of Rights protections if they were to capture all three branches of NH Government?

Given their extreme Socialist outlook, how soon would those rights disappear or become sufficiently “infringed” upon so as to make them castrated?

Last note: Haven’t been writing much at all lately – with TMEW having a cyst removed and shingles rearing its head, I’ve gotten to play nurse to her and rugrat patrol the Grandson at home…

Sidenote: there IS a reason why God gives little children to young adults; when He does it to we seniors, it’s a reminder that he has a grand dry sense of humor…heh!

…playing chaffeur to both their medical appointments (plenty of those this last week!) as well as school drop offs and pickups that are now in session for him.  Thus, little time for writing (as that requires more than the uninterrupted time period of 5 minutes that I seem to be getting nowadays). Hopefully I can get back to being a bit normal by the beginning of next week.

Appreciate everyone else carrying the load!
