Lawsuit Challenges NH Absentee Voting Process

It seems like Democrats will do or say anything to relax voting laws for their benefit.
The latest attack on election integrity is to weaken protections for Absentee Voting in NH.

GST has previously commented on:
NH Democrats sued the State of NH to bring back “Drive-By voting.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats proposed changes to state voting laws:
to allow all eligible individuals to register to vote on the same day that they vote.
to forbid requiring any form of identification to obtain an absentee ballot.
to automatically mail absentee ballots and balloting materials to all registered voters.
to allow voters to designate another person to return the ballot (ballot harvesting).

Mail-In Voting means giving ballots to everyone on the checklist.

Assembly Bill 4 in Nevada, which provides for:
all active voters to receive a mail ballot, whether they’ve requested one or not.
ballots received without a postmark for up to three days after Election Day to be considered valid.
multiple ballots to be submitted in a single envelope with only a single signature required on the envelope.
individuals to sign a ballot on another persons behalf.
collection and turning in of ballots by people not related to the voter (ballot harvesting).

New Hampshire has rejected “Mail-In Voting” in favor of expanded Absentee Voting.

American Federation of Teachers (AFT) has filed suit against the NH Absentee Ballot Process.
The suit argues the NH Absentee Ballot process, as amended due to Covid, is unconstitutional because:
it prohibits delivery of ballots by agents (ballot harvesting).
it requires voters to put postage on the envelope to return their ballot (a poll tax).
it requires that only ballots returned to election officials by election day may be counted.

Like Nancy Pelosi’s HR 6800, the AFT lawsuit is stated to be due to the COVID-19 pandemic:
“The burden that these requirements place on voters is severe. They may either venture out and risk exposure to a deadly virus, or not register to vote or cast their absentee ballot.”

In response, the Trump campaign and the RNC filed a motion to intervene in the AFT lawsuit.

Democrats loosened voter laws in Nevada because they controlled the Legislature and Governor.
In New Hampshire, they’re trying to accomplish the same thing by using the courts.

Be sure to make your vote count on November 3, 2020.
