On Saturday, Oct. 24, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the State House, ReopenNH is participating in “Shining A Light: A Grassroots Vigil for Victims of the Recent Government Overreach.”
The Candlelight Vigil will recognize the hidden casualties of the government shutdown, which has been based on bad, politicized science, and call on government officials to admit they were wrong for shutting down our state and imposing unlawful mandates on our free society.
The event is also structured to precede the election and energize voters to support candidates who will remove the barriers of government and restore the liberty in our state needed to get everyone’s lives back on track.
It is time we start focusing on rebuilding New Hampshire, but first we need to pause and recognize what we have lost.
Please bring your own LED lantern or LED candle to the vigil. While it would be nice to use actual candles, we don’t need or want any implications that could be construed from their use. Dress for the weather and pay attention to the forecast. The event will happen, rain or shine, cold or warm.
We have a growing line up of speakers who will share how they have been negatively affected by the government shutdown or their plans for bringing us forward toward a free New Hampshire that respect people’s individual rights and risk tolerances. The event is co-hosted by the group, Absolute Defiance.
