This year, the Academy Awards will not require attendees to wear masks… except when the cameras are not rolling, e.g., during commercial breaks.
I don’t understand the messaging. Before, it was let everyone see you wearing a mask. Now, it’s apparently don’t let people see you wearing a mask. But still wear the mask when no one is looking!
The Oscars are probably the single largest virtue-signaling event of the year. But I can’t read the signals. Can anyone out there help me translate them?
