If you have been following my posts, you know the IHME model, which I call the Murray Model, has been massively overestimating the impact of Coronavirus on New Hampshire. Paraphrasing from yesterday’s post, while the Murray Model was predicting 405 would be hospitalized in New Hampshire on April 1, 2020 on account of Coronavirus, there had been a total of only 59 hospitalizations as of April 1st.
Many, many people have been pointing out on twitter and on other social media that the Murray Model has been massively overestimating the impact of Coronavirus. I suppose it’s possible that DeWitt is unaware of the criticism. But I’m going to go with #FakeNews on this one.
The progressive-press is heavily invested in the doomsday scenarios and lockdown. They don’t want to admit yet that that model behind the apocalyptic projections and draconian lockdowns is horribly flawed.
