There’s a sneaky new little virus in town, who would get lost amongst the regular Influenza and Rhinoviruses (Rhinovirii?) out there, but thanks to the pied pipers of the Fake News Networks, that little virus is leading a parade with the jackbooted federal government only too happy to fall in behind…
Ben Garrison (who else) illustrates how the ruling class never lets a crisis go to waste, whether it is small-time mayors urging gun confiscation (remember how that helped after Katrina?), or Federal agencies looking to increase their power, even as Trump works to engage the free market to solve the problem. As Garrison says:
When government gets more power, it never relinquishes it. The CIA-influenced mass media has drummed up hysteria about this latest virus, and some even imply Trump is to blame. One thing for sure, everything else they drummed up to try and remove our lawfully elected president has failed. Now they will blame Trump for COVID 19 and the collapsing stock market.
And a bonus cartoon – as it became more clear that the most likely source of the Novel Coronavirus ’19 was the Chinese government’s own labs (rumors suggest that underpaid workers were selling the lab animals in Wuhan’s market instead of cremating them), Xi Jingping started to blame the Americans for the appearance of the virus – they must be bat-gut crazy! Furthermore, the ChiComs are threatening to cut off pharmaceutical supplies to the USA – we must be bat-excrement crazy to have got into that position!
Meanwhile, Dr Trump rounds up all the public and private experts who can help and tries to calm the country:
Finally, if you think, like most of us here, that the reaction to this virus is totally overblown, and bad actors in either politics or the bureaucracy are using it to gain more control over the “sheeple,” then you’ll love this by Timothy Bishop
We are overdue for a correction – no not of the market, but of the Federal Government – much of it needs to be shut down, terminated with extreme prejudice so that it cannot grow back. Most of the agencies and departments have no constitutional basis, especially if the Commerce Clause were ever interpreted correctly!
