2012 Presidential Campaign – Rick Santorum at the Lawrence Barn in Hollis, NH

Grokster Mike and Stacy “the Other” McCain are following Rick Santorum as he is moving about the countryside in the last ditch pell-mell paced, pitch for votes.  Mike called in and said that the place is packed to the rafters and overflowing at just about every seam possible.

Original post was kindly done by Skip, from my emails, and only because we don’t have the technique of directly posting images from an iPad down straight yet. Updated with comments at 9pm.

Stacy Mccain looking for the candidate!  The press and campaign team had agreed on a convenient rock as makeshift stage for a press conference, and as we awaited the increasingly popular senator, Stacy claimed “king of the hill” to check on the arrival of the Senator’s entourage.

More after the jump:

Overflow crowd at Lawrence barn – Hollis, NH:

The Lawrence barn acts as a community center for the small town of Hollis, and it rarely sees a capacity crowd, but on this occasion the crowd was spilling out through all open doors on both sides of the building, and that was with the press mostly outside. The parking lots on both sides of the street were packed to overflowing, too.

Up close:

Yes, the Press is here too:

Just look at all those cameras and microphones, and yes, there were two satellite trucks at a barn in the countryside!

Byron York (noted Reporter and commentator from the Washington Examiner) can be seen a couple of rows back from the makeshift “stage”, just to the left of the lamppost. Also, at the bottom of the frame, you can see a piece of a famous Fedora in the front row 😉
