Comment:

"It may not hurt right away, but it will come back to haunt them when the pendulum swings back to the R’s and they reclaim the majority. I also don’t believe that this play of political expendiency — a la the ‘Kennedy rule’ in Massachusetts in selecting the replacement senator — will play will with the electorate, as it goes against general public’s feeling of ‘play hard, but play fair; don’t screw with the rules to win.’"

Of course, as always, Dean Barker from BlueHampshire continued with the Progressive meme that Government has to provide for everyones’ needs:
"Uninsured Americans care about having health insurance. Don’t be fooled by the GOP’s last-ditch effort at derailing reform with their complaints over majority rules." Dean Barker, Blue Hampshire
Sure, and I would too be concerned – but I would be treated at any hospital I walked into just like all the illegal immigrants.  The problem for Dean style Progressives is that the vast majority of folks HAVE health insurance and the polls are showing AMERICANS DON’T WANT A GOVERNMENT TAKEOVER, especially at the cost of what Obama is wanting to spend.  Frankly, every whiny Progressive that sees their utopian dream of Socialism implemented here in American is blaming the Republicans.  They just don’t get the idea that people don’t want to be told what’s good for them, especially once they past the age of majority.

Thus, not only are they whiny, they can’t count and do percentages either; Republicans for a whole year could NOT stop the Dems from passing anything they wanted.

Only the Dems could, and they did.
