The defeat of the Gay Marriage bill in Maine

Good news!  After all, intolerant people should not deserve anything.  From the Bangor Daily News, it seems that the gays are some upset – Mainers, get ready for a hate filled tirage and pogrom against you just as they did in California:

In a defiant speech to several hundred lingering supporters, No on 1 campaign manager Jesse Connolly pledged that his side “will not quit until we know where every single one of these votes lives.”

Good job – instead of bowing to the will of the people, these folks are going to ruin peoples lives for the crime of simply disagreeing with them.  The militant gays in CA have gotten people fired from their jobs, businesses shut down, and generally made life miserable of common folks whose only "crime" was to support, either by signature, donated money, or votes for,  traditional marriage.  Their message has become "Gimme what I want, and I want it now, and if you refuse me – I will retaliate!".

All because citizens choose to exercise their Constitutional Rights – which, I guess, should not be allowed by these bully-crats.

More Chicago style Bully-ocracy just like – Oh yeah Obama doesn’t support gay marriage either!  When are the gays going to pitchfork the Pres?  Hey, how’s that Obama Hope and Change promise for "don’t ask, don’t change" or DOMA working for you, too?  He’s the dude who should most be deserving of your ire – not your neighbors (oh yeah, that!  Let’s hear your DownEast accent – hmm sounds more like Valley speak to me….).

You know, if they do attack their fellow Mainers for holding an opinion, they will deserve to lose bigger.  As Blue Hamspshire has tried to use the Big Lie technique before, traditional marriage supporters will be called haters and racists.  In fact, that IS part of the plan: intimidation!

From the first comment by Andy:

Our opponents fear being labeled as bigots, because they know that if we’re successful in labeling them as such, it’s game over — their soft support melts away. One of the most important legacies of the African Civil Rights Movement is that most Americans don’t like to be viewed as being bigots.

Go ahead, call me a bigot, call me a racist – don’t botha me a’tall!  You see, words only work when you allow someone to take advantage of you.  And that, with their own words, is what the militant gays have done, have now again promised to do again, and most likely, will do.

Love and peace?  Not really….they may claim to love each other but they certainly won’t love you, Mainer, unless you vote THEIR way…
