Yes, Christ died – for you, for me, for all. For God is Holy and cannot accept our blemishes, our sin. But the Lamb of God was given as a free gift from God to act as a sacrifice for us to take away that sin, for on the third day, that we celebrate as Easter, He arose and conquered Death in our stead.
Yes, He died, but the importance of Easter is that He arose! Christ is risen….indeed!
