Co-founder of GraniteGrok, my concern is around Individual Liberty and Freedom and how the Government is taking that away. As an evangelical Christian and Conservative with small "L" libertarian leanings, my fight is with Progressives forcing a collectivized, secular humanistic future upon us. As a TEA Party activist, citizen journalist, and pundit!, my goal is to use the New Media to advance the radical notions of America's Founders back into our culture.

Frank Guinta – Did the 17th Amendment weaken or strengthen the Founders vision of a proper Republic?

Last Saturday after the Rochester 912 Project Republican NH CD-1 debate, I had the chance to do another in the series of GraniteGrok’s "Micro-Interview".  This time, the question was, after getting a reminder of their answer on "Repeal the 17th Amendment?", was "Did the 17th Amendment weaken or strengthen the Founders’ vision of a Republic …

More on HassanSullivanSpeech – why is Kathy Sullivan / Maggie Hassan’s amendment so Dangerous to Liberty and Freedom – Part 1

I’m going to walk through some of Kathy Sullivan’s email to pull out the "gotchas" and the landmines that the Democrats are laying in for their opposition.  Certainly, these are my opinions, but I’m sure that ANY one that values one of our Ultimate Rights as bestowed by our Creator, recognized by the Framers, will …

Notable Quote – Calvin Coolidge (“Silent Cal”)

"Perhaps one of the most important accomplishments of my administration has been minding my own business" – President Calvin Coolidge (to journalists in 1929)   If only MORE politicians would stick to their own business instead of butting into EVERYTHING they think is their domain.

“But then we realized that we’d helped separate sex from responsibility.”

From "free love" to the hook-up generation. Here’s the wind up: The Pill Is Overrated I also loved Raquel Welch’s brassy column, KLo, but I do think most folks overrate the power of the Pill as a technology shock. The separation of sex from reproduction was a great technology shock, but what was that technology? …
