Co-founder of GraniteGrok, my concern is around Individual Liberty and Freedom (and how Government is taking that away from us). My fight, from a Conservative (with small "L" libertarian leanings) and evangelical Christian perspective, is with the Progressives that are forcing a collectivized and secular humanistic future upon us. As TEA Party activist, citizen journalist (and pundit!), my goal is to use the New Media to advance the radical notions of America's Founders back into our culture again.

Friday Humor – Sharing

The sharing of marriage…   The old man placed order for one hamburger, French fries and a drink. He unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half, placing one half in front of his wife. He then carefully counted out the French fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile …

Hasta La Vista, Ms. Mesa!

Bumped and Updated: This is unexcusable – perhaps THIS is why she resigned – or was she forced to resign? This comes from an article from the Union Leader discussing Tom Tancredo, former Republican candidate for President as he visited BAE Systems as a campaign stop.  The below was left as a response to the …

Notable Quotes – de Tocqueville

"The dignity of man is not shattered in a single blow, but slowly softened, bent, and eventually neutered. Men are seldom forced to act, but are constantly restrained from acting. Such power does not destroy outright, but prevents genuine existence. It does not tyrannize immediately, but it dampens, weakens, and ultimately suffocates, until the entire …

Williams over at Town Hall concerning Universal Healthcare (reminder, he was one of our first guests on Meet The New Press, ll bolded emphasis is mine. McCain’s Speech

Can’t you tell that I’ve got the day off? Let’s be honest – I have like John McCain at a personal level – he sealed the deal when he let the ‘Grok "ride the bus".  He is certainly the only true American hero running in the Presidential race for his service to his country.  Yet, …

Blogging Councilor – the rebuttal

My rebuttal to Greg Kyntych, The Blogging Councilor in Laconia on his post on the outcome of the Belknap County budget Public Hearing. My summary: Greg misses the point – it’s not the legislation, it’s the COST!  His claim: A Partial Success My opinion: Not so much.  No, the taxpayers lost. Here’s the stats that …
