Co-founder of GraniteGrok, my concern is around Individual Liberty and Freedom (and how Government is taking that away from us). My fight, from a Conservative (with small "L" libertarian leanings) and evangelical Christian perspective, is with the Progressives that are forcing a collectivized and secular humanistic future upon us. As TEA Party activist, citizen journalist (and pundit!), my goal is to use the New Media to advance the radical notions of America's Founders back into our culture again.

Short Thoughts on the Dem Debate

Why short thoughts?  Theirs were, why not mine? I get the sense that none of these folks play any boardgames in which one has to rationally think multiple moves ahead of the current one. They toss 100’s of billions of dollars around (when talking about universal healthcare) as if it were penny candy and we …

…and this isn’t helping

Our political elite chuckleheads (and I am going to use that word on the ‘Grok for any politician that continues this charade of this "comprehensive immigration bill") think that we are the morons eh? Gee, thanks President Bush…..with this pronouncement, I think you’ve overspent your political capital with conservatives: "I’m sure you’ve heard some of …

Council members said they oppose big-box stores for …

Sunlight is flooding into the process

Senator Ted Kennedy’s third attempt at "comprehesive immigration reform" has certainly drawn a LOT of attention.  Given that the first two attempts (1965 and 1986) have been abject failures, why are people thinking he’s the end all be all again?  Unfortunately, like many government projects, politicians take little heed to actual past results in judging …

More is never enough, is it?

Very few politicians actively campaign for lower taxes, and then mean it.  Most, especially if they have been around for a while, are always looking for new revenue streams…. …as if they really believe that they always have the right to take more out of the pockets of those that actually earn it (yeah, I …
