Friday Humor – Lexiphiles: Whoever put this together loves language.

To write with a broken pencil is pointless. When fish are in schools they sometimes take debate. A thief who stole a calendar got twelve months. When the smog lifts in Los Angeles , U.C.L.A. The professor discovered that her theory of earthquakes was on shaky ground. The batteries were given out free of charge. …

McCain Endorsement of Romney

Congratulations to Mitt Romney on winning the endorsement of Senator McCain.  McCain’s endorsement nearly nails down the support of two parts of the Republican party.  McCain represents the Republican establishment that believes Republicans must not mention Obama’s failings, believes that Obama cannot be defeated, and fears a Conservative candidate more than the re-election of Obama …

Its Time to Ignore Liberal Bullying

Democrats have gotten used to getting their way by name calling and intimidating their opponents. They have used these techniques to stifle opposition to their wasteful, ruinous, and often counter-productive programs. Finally, many Americans have had enough of it.
Only the TEA Party is committed to restoring our country’s fiscal health. We are an obstacle to the major political parties “go along to get along” ways. The TEA Party is slandered and viciously attacked because we threaten the power of the current political establishment and their mutually supporting special interest groups.

Response to Attacks on Republicans for PAYGO

Hightower’s article and Veverka’s letter are just partisan attack pieces. It is a common liberal technique to attack anyone who tries to stop or even slow the growth of government. Anyone who won’t cave to whatever liberals demand will be smeared. It doesn’t matter whether the program works, is worth the cost, is counter-productive, or is affordable.

Democrats Reject Obama’s Jobs Bill

After nearly three years we have learned that President Obama only knows and promotes liberal policies that raise our cost of living, increase our taxes, and kill American jobs. These are the policies promoted by his new “jobs” bill which would just create more misery for Americans.

Proud of President Obama

I would have been prouder still of President Obama if he didn’t use our soldiers as political pawns. Because the Democrat controlled Senate has refused to pass a budget for more than two years, government funding is being authorized by continuing resolutions. When Republicans tried to rein in President Obama’s irresponsible spending demands, President Obama threatened a government shutdown and the withholding of salary, disability and death benefits, and other payments to our soldiers, even those in combat with dependent families.
I guess soldiers shouldn’t feel singled out since President Obama also threatened to have social security payments withheld. Apparently payments for foreign aid, bureaucrats, subsidies, bailouts, pork barrel spending, and President Obama’s travel, etc., are all higher priority to President Obama than paying our soldiers and seniors.

The TEA Party is for America not for a Political Party

The TEA Party demands that politicians ignore both leftist and rightist special interests and start addressing our country’s problems. The TEA Party opposes politicians of any party who continue the disastrous policies of the last 50 years. It will support politicians of any party who are dedicated to returning to the policies that made our country the greatest in human history: personal responsibility, small Constitutionally authorized and fiscally responsible government, the rule of law equally applied to rich and poor regardless of political influence, and opportunity for all to work for their dreams.

Where is Democrat Support for Obama’s Jobs Bill?

A real jobs plan would create an environment that encourages investment in America, but the President’s job plan doesn’t do this. The President’s plan empowers the administration to pick winners and losers, which government does poorly, and to dispense money to political supporters. The President apparently believes he can convince the gullible, the economically ignorant, the envious, and of course the beneficiaries that his plan, despite previous experience, would be beneficial.
