If Vermont is the poster child for Democrat decline, Burlington is the picture at its center. It is by far Vermont’s largest municipality and, again -and perhaps then some – its greatest cistern of liberal policy, making its decline, while sad, easy to predict.
The Democrat party is the party of death, but they are also the party of fear, and one of the more recent terms to join their lexicon is forever chemicals. Anything that gets into your body accumulates and never leaves, like Democrat Socialism.
Using rules against political opponents is precisely the antics Saul Alinsky loved. Make them live up to their own book of rules. Dems try to do it all the time, but a Republican State Senator in Florida just that idea to a whole new level.
If you are looking for a silver lining, this report on spiking homicides in increasingly-crime-riddled Democrat Vermont does imply that at some point in the past, there were more homicides in a year than in 2022.
