NH State Rep Joe Sweeney Facebook

Hey Joe … Your “Good Friend,” Rosemarie, Is A Communist

Joe Sweeney is supposedly one of the NHGOP’s “leaders,” “young-guns,” “the future of the Party” etc., etc., etc., … he’s much, much, much smarter than those boomer-GOP’rs … he knows how to win in New Hampshire … OR so he would like you to believe. Actually, Joe is simply regurgitating the failed, losing mantra of … Read more

We’re Still Waiting For Those Campaign Finance Report Corrections

It has been a week and a day, give or take, since we reported on House leadership’s response to several Election Law (specifically campaign finance) complaints. The Committee to Elect House Republicans (CTEHR) appears numerically challenged, having somehow misplaced over 169,000 dollars between 2022 and 2024. To provide a bit of contrast, I could probably … Read more

Money Laundering

Mr. Speaker: Is it Money Laundering Or Something Else?

While we wait for the Committee to Elect House Republicans (CTEHR) to explain where nearly 170,000.00 dollars went between 2022 and 2024, other related matters require our attention. Let me preface with this. If you are married, it is not a good look if you are seen frequently in public in the private company of … Read more

Dem Matt Wilhelm Is Right And Republican Sherm Packard Is Wrong … On This

Transparency in Government ought to be the model that EVERYONE can agree. That ordinary citizens know what the “Process” is by which Government (Legislature, Executive, and Judicial branches) operates, AND understand WHY those processes exists as they do. After all, Government should be FOR us and not for Government itself. As you all know, I … Read more

Shame on AFP

I received an email from AFP this morning that announced this year’s Defender of Liberty award.  Below is an excerpt from that email. “Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire is proud to announce Joe Sweeney as our 2024 winner of the Tom Thomson Defender of Liberty award! Joe has spent the last year tirelessly fighting for lower … Read more

Sun King Sununu Cropped

The Chris Sununu Legacy …

Yes, bitter-clingers, I know that your illustrious Sun-King Chris Sununu has approximately one-quarter of his (thankfully) final term remaining … but we have seen enough to opine on the Sun-King’s legacy. Simply stated, the Sun-King leaves office a pariah in the national Republican Party and an irrelevancy in national politics. And as for New Hampshire, … Read more

Capitalism Versus Free Speech

In the make-believe, fairy-tale world that people like Joe Sweeney, Ross Berry, Mikey Graham, Drew Cline, the Koch-bots, and the libertarians (an incomplete list) espouse, Big Business ALWAYS acts in their financial self-interest, which ultimately benefits everyone. EXCEPT Big Business does NOT act in such a manner.

Irony Alert … Ross Berry

Here is a good one: Ross Berry criticizes union leadership on X for not representing union workers. The irony apparently escapes Berry. Berry and his fellow Republican “leaders,” Jason Osborne, Joe Sweeney, etc., do NOT represent Republicans.

Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massganistan

Since the 1930s, governments, politicians, leaders, and members of freedom-crushing movements have been using the word “Crisis” to accomplish goals that “The People” would never have voted for or allowed to occur if we were not told that it would “Solve a Crisis” of some type.

Did State Reps Know What They Were Voting For?

This is an open letter to the 67 Republicans who voted with 152 Democrats to pass bills in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals on March 28, 2024. Did you realize what you were voting for?

A Call for Reason and Liberty in New Hampshire’s Housing Debate

As a lifelong Granite Stater with roots stretching back to when my grandparents first sought a better life in Salem in 1954, I feel a deep connection to this land and its people. My story is not unique; it’s woven from the same fabric of hope and opportunity that has drawn countless others to New … Read more

Night Cap: If It’s Urban Density You Want, Then Move To Massachusetts

Apparently, according to NHGOP “leaders” in the House, the most important issue facing New Hampshire is that there is just not enough urban density. There is a simple solution … Ross Berry, Joe Sweeney, and anyone else who wants to see (and I mean literally see) more apartment complexes can move to Massachusetts.

Sununu Goofball

Sununu Isn’t Running For President

Today, New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu announced he would not seek the Republican nomination for President. I guess he looked at the polling and discovered that he’d reached his ceiling on electability (but won’t admit it). It’s a lesson he should have learned from not running for the US Senate.
