I’d like to make fun of Governor Nuisance for this, but I can’t. I can only disagree. He wants to use the process of amending the Constitution. That’s the right way to do it. But that’s the only right thing about his proposed 28th Amendment.
Democrats didn’t need to lie to pass Obamacare. They had a majority in both houses of Congress. But they lied anyway, often, and the media helped. They said they would bring costs down and not get between you and your doctor.
The similarities between California Governor Gavin “Gruesome” Newsom and Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are quite remarkable. They both spend far too much time focusing on their hair and looking in the mirror.
As of this morning, with 67% reporting, California Governor Gavin Newsome will keep his job. 64.2% said they do not want the governor replaced. Good news for Newsom, better news for places like Texas.
As the TDS media spins the nation up to destroy President Trump, praise for his response comes from strange quarters. The head of the World Health Organization named Trump and Pence for their leadership. And California Gov. Gavin Newsome also had good things to say.
It is, as they like to say around these parts, wicked early to be taking any poll about party nominees for the 2028 presidential contest seriously.

President Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, said Sunday that California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass could face federal charges for their responses to recent ICE raids, which sparked violent riots in parts of Los Angeles, Compton, and Paramount. California Governor Gavin Newsom is a nuisance to his constituents, the state, and now to himself. That dog and pony show of a reparations committee he created has arrived at a number, and Newsom can’t afford it if he ever intended to go through with it.
Gavin Newsom is making it quite clear that he wants to be President sooner than later. There are two problems with his plans. One, he would have to primary against sitting President Joe Biden.
Failure has a name, and it is California. A Socialist State doing business as the People’s Republic of Newsomstan. They have more restrictions and more Rona (go figure), so their imperial governor has degreed that residents are now forbidden from traveling more than 120 miles from home.
The eco-Socialists at Treehugger joyfully embraced California Governor Newsom’s unilateral Executive Order. To radically change Californians’ lives by no longer allowing gas-powered vehicles to be sold beginning in 2035. But he also said that gas cars could still be used up to and after that date.
The “Washington Monument strategy” is named after a tactic used by the National Park Service to threaten closure of the popular Washington Monument when lawmakers proposed serious cuts in spending on parks.
