For decades, I have argued that the enemy is Islam without adjectives, Islam “pure and simple.” Adjectives such as “extremist,” “radical,” “moderate,” “fundamentalist,” “moderate,” “political,” “Islamist,” mislead the blind, the ignorant.
It is easy to find the “man in the street” videos again (or, I’m just better at stumbling over them), especially those made by younger people asking (what should be rather easy questions) of their cohort. Easy being “at least in the ballpark.” Sadly,” easy” seems to really mean “unobtainable.”
