Kuster and Pappas Cosponsor Bill That Requires Women’s Shelters to Accept Transgender Women
Both of New Hampshire’s members of Congress have signed on as cosponsors of HR1585. Titled the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2019 it would require prisons to accept inmates based on their gender identity while women’s domestic violence shelters would have to allow men if they identify as women.
