It has been three years since the Democrat party produced a federal budget. The Democrat Senate has blocked repeated efforts by the Republican controlled House to ‘do something’ about that. President Obama, Senate leader Harry Reid, and the Democrat leaderships contribution (including their media homunculus) has been to demand compromise without giving any.
Long story short, if the regs went into place the vitamin shelf at the store would be emptied until supplement makers submitting test results to the FDA and the products were approved. And the added for battling the bureaucracy and testing regime? You’d be paying that when they products went back on the shelf, if they did.
Left wing tax policy and the class warfare rhetoric they use to advance it crumbles in the face of even the most simplistic analysis. Take the left wing war on the wealthy. They argue that the rich do not pay their fair share even though the rich pay most of the taxes. Here in New Hampshire the Mark Fernald wing of the democrat party apes this ridiculous technique on the matter of New Hampshire property taxes, a notion upon which the social justice mavens and the Granite State “Fair Tax” Coalition are meant to agitate. But neither claim holds water and this cross post from CNHT explains why.

The Union Leader wastes no time, exposing Hawkins connection to money she received May 11th from America Votes (out of state left wing donation), which Granite State Progress then used to support the Democrat in the special election she is squawking about, specifically to elect that democrat, in that election.
As a staged piece of populist propaganda, proven to be yet another Obama/Progressive Potemkin village, it validates the patent distrust we all feel towards them and the dishonesty of this political party, its leadership, it’s leader, and its obsessive desire to mislead the people in pursuit of photo-ops to build up a tragically failed and economically destructive presidency doomed to end in 2012.
