First, London and then the rest of the UK have been on a years-long experiment to end knife violence. And we’ve been making fun of them as criminals deprived of other means have taken to using knives on people their government has disarmed.
Epidemiologist Neil Ferguson created the highly-cited Imperial College London coronavirus model. The initial projection from Ferguson’s model projects 2.2 million dead people in the United States. It also projected 500,000 dead in the U.K. from COVID-19.
Police in England have been publishing pictures of seized knives. You know, the way cops show you guns or drugs or whatever. But there’s a problem. They think the images are scaring the locals, so they’re going to stop doing that.
