March Madness Reminder: Back in 2010 NH Democrats Tried To Fund-Raise off ‘The Extreme 16’

by Steve MacDonald March 20, 2017

This year’s March Madness is coming to a close without the fawning media coverage of Barack Obama’s brackets. But the theme of brackets reminds me that back in October of 2010 Mary Jane Wellner and Marjorie Smith, of the Committee to elect House Democrats, tried to fundraise on some brackets of their own. They called it […]

Extreme 16 NH update – wait for it…wait for it…

by Tom November 3, 2010

Extreme 16, a kookie website produced by the heads of the NH Committee to Elect Democrats, gave people the chance to choose the most extreme 16 Republicans, then 8, 4, then 2. Well, I checked the site on the day following the MASSIVE Republican Tsunami of November 2010. Guess what I found? FAIL!

The Most Extreme – the stances – Part 5

by Skip October 18, 2010

Well now, Gary Hoffman is ticked off! He makes this suggestion to Madams Wallner and Smith: "Perhaps you need to expand the membership in this "club". The Most Extreme – the stances – Part 3

by Skip October 18, 2010

Well, Jennifer Horn weighs in – and is properly miffed that Madams Wellner and Smith have not seen fit to include former candidates and activists: Balanced Budget Amendment Term Limits repealing Obamacare cutting spending by eliminating waste, fraud and redundancy from every level of government   Constitutional leadership reforms like eliminating Congressional pensions our elected representatives […]

It’s re-motivating Buckley’s opposition even more, just weeks before the election. And it’s obvious the liberal socialist mouth breathers did not spend to much time thinking about this list because there are dozens of Republicans asking why they are not on the list. Not to mention the surreal effort to frame the extremism with what amounts to complete and utter nonsense.

The Most Extreme – the stances

by Skip October 17, 2010

A "bleg" if I might – Please, all of you "poseurs" (heh!, for *I* am more extreme than any of you BY FAR!)  for the crown to be bestowed Madams Wellner and Smith, send the ‘Grok WHY you should be considered. Again, while I appreciate your lame attempts to steal such honor from me, I […]

Hey! I should be on the “Extreme 16” too…

by Tom October 17, 2010

As Skip wrote here, "the protestations have begun", with a number of candidates for the New Hampshire Legislature NOT being included in the "Extreme 16" bracket, established by Mary Jane Wellner and Marjorie Smith, who head the Committee to elect House Democrats. I wrote a letter to Mary and Marjorie, thanking them for highlighting a […]
