GOP Primary Voter Recommendations For Hollis, NH - Granite Grok

GOP Primary Voter Recommendations For Hollis, NH

There’s no way I’d presume to tell my friends and neighbors how to vote, and I don’t know all the candidates for every position, but enough people have asked “what do you think…?” that I’m putting my preferences in print.

For me, the most important thing is preserving or improving the Republican majority in Congress, and for that we need not merely a good Republican, but the hardest-working, most solid conservative in the CD2 race. After listening to all the candidates several times, I, and the rest of the Grok Crew, gravitated to Steve Negron as the the one with the courage of his convictions and the tenacity to win against Kuster in November: The whole team has endorsed Negron.

Next most important for the well-being of Hollis, is the rejuvenation of our representation to the state legislature. I have the utmost respect for Carolyn Gargasz and Jim Belanger, and especially for the many years they have put in on behalf of the townsfolk. However, this year, we have conservative challengers in the persons of Dr Jim Kelly, and Donna Levasseur, both of whom have strong personal conservative convictions, and Dr Kelly in particular has been tireless on the campaign trail. I’m recommending the challengers this year.

Never forget the other rep for Hollis – Keith Ammon of the 40th “floterial” district which includes our town. He has a solid voting record in Concord, and deserves your support.

Moving up the food chain a little, State Senator Kevin Avard has been a staunch defender of liberty and fiscal responsibility, and must fend off a Democrat in disguise before he can get to the serious business of defeating Melanie Levesque in November. Please support him.

Unique to New Hampshire is the five person Executive Council, and the “good guy” for our EC district is Dave Wheeler, with an excellent record of fiscal restraint. He needs your support now, and against Deborah Pignatelli in November.

Unchallenged but not forgotten: County Attorney Dennis Hogan, Governor Chris Sununu, and Register of Probate, Joe Kelly Levasseur.

Finally, to be our delegates to the State GOP convention: I’m recommending Agatha Connelly and Doug Davidson, of the town GOP.
