Ranking Numbers Improve But Position Remains the Same

If I may take a moment of your time for a quick update. In the past month, GraniteGrok’s Alexa numbers have improved. Our National numbers are better, and our global numbers took a healthy leap in the right direction. But we did not advance in our list of statewide internet media portals.

Of the fourteen sites we are tracking only one moved, and it was in backward.

NH Journal dropped from eleventh to thirteenth.

We remain in seventh with the Salem Observer and Keene Sentinel in close pursuit. While the Conway Daily Sun continues to enjoy a summer boost, while we ride higher than usual in what is typically a summer downturn.

The Grok, unlike its competitors, is in the midst of a major remodel. We’re investing in the website and a technology boost. And the benefits of that won’t be measurable until the site is up and the tech is in use. But throughout the summer we have experienced some very positive numbers during months when traffic traditionally craters.

It is encouraging.
