One of the televisions at Cardiac Rehab was on CNN this morning. The volume is down (thank the Lord), but it has closed captioning, so you can read (or not) what’s important to the Leader in Fake News. It’s all about “separating families.” The whole time I was there.
CNN is, not unexpectedly, all in and 100% focused on propagandizing a Democrat party talking point. Did I say not unexpectedly?
A progressive hypocrisy I exposed here just a few days ago. To which I am prepared to add.

Most of these children were “separated” from their families, by their families. Their parents put them in the hands of coyotes, or cartels, or human traffickers including sex traffickers, or just sent them across a dangerous, inhospitable desert where they might die.
Why?
They must have heard about Progressive support for policies like DACA. Or perhaps they see American Cable news shows. Or hear about law-breaking mayors and city councils who create sanctuaries for illegals. Places where gangs and human traffickers can operate with less fear of being caught. Places where other people’s “kids” are taken from their parents with nary a peep from the left.
Kate Steinle’s parents will never have their daughter back. Nor will Don Rosenberg ever see his son Drew. What about Angie Morfin, Sabine Durden, or Mary Ann Mendoza? The closest thing to reunification for grieving parents like Agnes Gibboney? A visit to her son’s grave (see picture above) in Glendora, CA. Ronald De Silva was murdered by an illegal alien gang-banger who had been previously deported. These and many other American parents have lost their children—forever—because of illegal alien crimes.
If anyone is to blame for anyone being separated from anyone else in the illegal immigration debate it is Democrats and Moderate (see also spineless) Republicans who aggravate this practice by demanding that we ignore the law when the solution is to follow the law.
The law says we should send these children back across the border to their parents. A practice Hillary Clinton supported as recently as 2014.
A practice we used to follow before the last president told those tasked with this duty to ignore the law. The president who had these kids in actual cages.
Obama Also detained kids as a deterrent to…drug cartels who were using them.
And amidst all of this, please remember,
“Children and parents get separated every day across this country when a parent is charged with a criminal offense,”
In those few cases where the children and parents cross illegally together, those advocating for equal treatment are getting it. People who break the law are separated from their children whether they are citizens or not.
What other laws should we not follow?
Why should illegal immigrants get rights American citizens don’t have?
Are you suggesting we not arrest or detain anyone on US soil who breaks the law if they have children because they will have to be separated?
Good questions but you know what? Liberals don’t actually care about the parents or the children. Not the far-left party ringleaders. And we know this because they didn’t care when Bill Clinton followed those laws or when Obama followed them or made excuses for following them.
It’s more of the same. Democrats using children as political pawns.
