I guess Scala or Galdieri haven’t heard the latest, have they?

Social conservatives will grumble, but they don’t appear to have the juice to make the popular governor pay the price for this,” Scala added. “There just aren’t enough voters, even in a statewide Republican primary, who will vote on these issues. That was true when it came to repealing gay marriage, and it’s true today.”

-University of New Hampshire political science professor Dante Scala

“He feels like he is comfortably ahead enough that he can afford to lose a few social conservative votes,” Galdieri said.

-Saint Anselm College political science professor Christopher Galdieri

It may be amusing, both ways, what with the scuttlebutt that has been part and parcel of all the inbound calls and emails I received yesterday and today.  When the idea started up, everyone that either mentioned it or heard it basically said: “yup, we could get behind that, RIGHT NOW”.

What has made it worse is that this Republican Governor, who should have been the last bastion of our representatives, should have stood firm against HB 587 (the Politically Correct, Democrat Agenda, Identity Politics, and First Amendment – Free Speech and NH Constitution- Free Conscious crushing Conversion Ban bill I refer to as the “Shut Up, I say” government demand) in honoring his oath to the Constitution and the spirit thereof.

So Republicans are now in cahoots with diminishing Liberty (not to mention violating the plank in the NH GOP Platform stating that children are the responsibility of their parents and not “the State” like Hillary has oft said?).  Or is that better put: again.

So, Chris Sununu has willingly decided to swap those that brung him to that dance in the corner office to those that won’t vote for him in order to save themselves from a heart attack.  Once again, Ray Buckley (NH Dem Chair) is ROTFL seeing the squishy Republicans moving his ball down the field.  THEY wanted this. I bet he’s thinking that “what, they’re gonna vote for Mollie Kelly”?  They’ll let a Democrat into the seat?

Guess he doesn’t know his recent history much, does he?

So, when a militant LGBTqrstuv (or whatever the latest letters that have been added to it – who (that really doesn’t care) can really brings a complaint against someone simply speaking their mind but counter to the Political Correctness/Cultural Marxism line to the NH Human Rights Commission, where there is no due process and no legal advisor present, what will Baby Huey say then to help them?  Express the deepest sympathy but still rationalize it to himself that he did the right thing (and “all they had to do was to keep their mouths shut in the first place”)?

Methinks that Sununu is about to live in interesting times.
