So Gov. Sununu appoints an anti-gun high-schooler to be “Guv for a day”?

Chris Sununu

Hey, Second Amendment supporters, tell me what the message is from Chris Sununu to y’all for this (reformatted, emphasis mine)?

Student Who Organized Anti-Gun Walkout Chosen To Be ‘Governor for a Day’

New Hampshire’s Republican governor has chosen a student who organized an anti-gun walkout at her high school in March as the winner of his “Governor for a Day” contest. Molly Robert, a senior at Kennett High School in North Conway, New Hampshire, was one of 100 girls in the state to submit essays for the contest. “Robert helped organize an orderly walkout” at her school and was subsequently interviewed on National Public Radio, according to Conway Daily Sun. The newspaper interviewed her by email. She mentioned a meeting she had with the governor, Chris Sununu, about school safety earlier this year.

Long distance calls to Scott Brown were not mentioned in the piece from the New Boston Post.  But this was in the Conway Daily Sun:

“A few months ago I had the opportunity to meet with Governor Sununu and talk about school safety following the student walkouts. When I met with the governor, I was surprised that we agreed on a lot of topics — considering that I am *very* liberal and he is after all a Republican governor,” Robert said via email.

Hmmm, what EVAH could that mean?  Maybe this gives us a clue as to her governing rational:

“My primary goals if I were Governor for a day, would be to stress the importance of empathy in politics, and encourage young people in New Hampshire to become involved in our State’s government.

Empathy, empathy; feelz – nothing more than FEELings!  Well, she wasn’t lying about being Liberal because a Conservative would immediately have responded with ” would be to stress the importance of adhering to Constitutional values in politics“.  Must I remind people as to the difference and how dangerous it is to govern based on raw emotions and “feelz goodnesses” is?

So, if Chris Sununu’s plan is to blame those that oppose him on gender identity issues (you know, the Democrat Agenda items), how is he gonna blame others for showing a favoritism for a “still wet behind the ears” teenager that – over the various Second Amendment groups that would ordinarily support him?  Is he now signaling that he’s going to be reaching out to NH State Rep Rogers for advice?

You know, he has publicly said that Republicans and others had bad messaging on the gender issues; I would assume other issues as well.  We here at the ‘Grok want to make sure that our messaging is Right. On. Point.  After all, he now on record asking for it!
