Mueller’s Machinations Causing Jaundiced Judges

Once a rogue FBI agent, always a rogue FBI agent, it seems, but at long last, judges are balking at Bob’s cases!

“[Justice] said this is what the investigation was about. But we’re not going to be bound by it, and we weren’t really telling the truth in that May 17 letter [appointing a special counsel].” – Judge Ellis describing Mueller’s team!

Like Bob himself, the trail of rogue actions bordering on outright corruption is long and has many shades of grey, but it is not his own history which is making news this time. Rather, it is the news that Judges dealing with Mueller’s victims are showing a distinct lack of sympathy toward ol’ Bob and his merry band of persecutors prosecutors lately…

First, in December, we got the news that Judge Contreras (who just happened to be buddies with FBI lovebird Peter Strozk) WAS Recused from the Flynn case after accepting Flynn’s guilty plea, and the new judge, Emmet Sullivan, demanded that Mueller’s team produce any and all evidence which may be helpful to the defendant, prior to sentencing. (Washington Times)

Now we learn that the judges hearing the cases against Paul Manafort are pushing back angrily against Mueller’s prosecutors. In particular, judge TS Ellis told Mueller’s prosecutor, Dreeben, that they were lying about the scope of their investigation, did not have the authority to investigate decade old crimes, and needed to produce an unredacted copy of the memo conveying said authority within two weeks. And Ellis isn’t the only federal judge recently to have recently expressed skepticism about Mueller’s apparent overreach. U.S. District Judge Amy Jackson Berman also challenged Mueller’s authority during a court hearing on a separate Manafort lawsuit last month. (H/T American Thinker

But wait, there’s more: I said a long history of misdeeds, mostly leading to Mueller’s promotions, and I do mean long, and expensive for taxpayers.
When friends in high places have brothers in low places, Mueller’s FBI can be counted upon to protect the evil and powerful, while jailing innocents as a cover for their actions. No, not last week or last year, but 1980’s Boston, where the truly EVIL Whitey Bulger, brother of Senate President Billy Bulger, was kept out of jail as a ‘trusted’ FBI informant while four men languished in jail for a murder committed by one of Bulger’s henchmen. It was Mueller, first as an assistant US attorney then as the acting US attorney in Boston, who wrote letters to the parole and pardons board throughout the 1980s opposing clemency for the four men framed by two corrupt FBI agents, John Connolly and John Morris. Then, just after 9/11, during the anthrax scare, Mueller as FBI director oversaw the botched investigation and assiduous persecution of the WRONG GUY (OC Register).

But even that wasn’t enough – Mueller’s people persecuted and framed Senator Ted Stevens for corruption and ethics violations, inventing some evidence while withholding exculpatory information. A year later, after GOP Sen Stevens had been run out of town, Judge Emmet Sullivan (who just got the Flynn case) threw out the conviction and demanded an investigation of the prosecutors. And there’s STILL more – during Hillary’s reign of corruption and error at the State Department, while the Clinton Global Graft Initiative was raking in foreign money, Mueller’s FBI knew of Russian bribery and corruption related to the Uranium One deal, but signed off on the sale of 20% of US Uranium assets as a member of Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
