"He is taking on, single-handedly, a Christian runner group, because, you know – Christians." - Granite Grok

“He is taking on, single-handedly, a Christian runner group, because, you know – Christians.”

Not Sure if troll or just very stupidOr both.  That’s from Ed’s post about Kevin Beck, a troll from Boulder who came out of his cave who, after deciding he was the most brilliant of brilliant, just HAD to show us his brilliance here at the ‘Grok.

#FAIL. He just wasn’t fast enough to deal with we Groksters and our equally nimble commenters so he left, head hung in shame.

Anyways, here’s a Press Release about his seemingly next stalking victim (note the criminal complaints filed against Beck (emphasis mine):

Running Author-Marathoner Kevin Beck Harassing Sports Ministry 4 Winds USA (News Release)
May 21, 2018     Contact: 4 Winds USA, 608-469-7956

MADISON, Wisc., May 21, 2018 /Christian Newswire/ – A few months ago, Kevin Beck started stalking Steve McConkey, President of 4 Winds USA, through social media by creating a multitude of false identities. Eventually, Beck started calling radio shows trying to cancel McConkey radio interviews.

4 Winds USA is a Christian organization standing up for world-class Christian athletes. The ministry recently helped reverse the Olympic Committee’s transgender policies.

Beck claims McConkey is a mental patient, a liar, a cross-dresser, closet homosexual, racist, has a false university degree, and is a beggar.

McConkey contacted the FBI after Beck commented at different times that it would be better when Christians die off. Though not a direct threat, McConkey became alarmed over the amount of vile postings on his facebook and two pages (over 15,000 followers combined).

Kevin Beck is the author of Run Strong and co-authored a book called Young Runners At The Top. He is a contributor to Runner’s World magazine and at one time was a senior writer. Beck writes articles at different running websites.

Beck was a marathon runner with a personal best of 2:24.17. He attended Concord High School (NH), the University of Vermont, and Geisel School of Medicine Dartmouth where he did not finish.

After contacting the Boulder Police Department, McConkey acquired Beck’s criminal record that included physically abusing a woman and a dog, defying a restraining order, five warrants, a criminal trespass charge, and a conviction for theft under $500. He spent ten days in jail for the theft.

Beck’s addresses on some of the criminal reports were as homeless. He has been arrested for public intoxication numerous times. There are more cases in different parts of the USA.

Steve McConkey is the founder and president of 4 Winds USA. Steve and Liz started in world-class track and field ministries in 1981. From 1982 through 1992, Steve was a USA National Club Coach for Athletes in Action (Eugene), Lay Witnesses for Christ (Dallas-Ft. Worth), and 4 Winds USA (Minneapolis-St. Paul). Athletes were ranked eighty times.

In 1992, 4 Winds USA dropped the team and started working with all world-class track and field athletes. In 2014, 4 Winds USA started standing up for Christian athletes in every sport. Steve periodically appears on worldwide radio, in global articles, and on television. He graduated with honors from Western Kentucky University (Master of Science-Public Health) and Minnesota State University, Mankato (BS-Community Health). 4WindsUSA.com. CHRISTIAN NEWSWIRE
