They Don’t Just Want the Guns…

Socialism - FistAfter Parkland, Democrats feel like they can come out of the closet on gun control. Inside their bubble, the outside world changed. The complete and utter failure of every mechanism they promised would protect us without a right to self-defense failed. Their response to this failure is to claw at your rights, and openly demand a repeal of the second amendment. A wholesale denial of the right to self-defense followed by a seizure by force of law of firearms from the law-abiding public.

Don’t act surprised. That was always the goal. Those of you who didn’t believe it or denied it (called us crazy) must ask why you ever believed them when they said it was not? Then ask yourself, how serious are the same people when they say (and they do say this openly now) that they oppose the right to free speech?

The left is clear on the role of government with regard to words, ideas, or messages they ideologically oppose. They should be stopped. Prohibited. Banned. Speakers should be silenced or punished. The threat of violence by third parties is reasonable to keep them quiet, and necessary when they won’t. And the State (remember them, the people who took our right to self-defense because they said they’d protect us) shouldn’t interfere.

This is no joke.

If Democrats get the votes, the seats, the majorities, the power, they WILL try to convert emotion and community organizing into both policy and force of law. They won’t just harass bakers, photographers, and school boards.

The people who accuse the Right of being book banners (more projection) will do everything in their power to control who speaks and how because they must.

No pursuit of ruling class totalitarianism can succeed without disarming the populace and control of speech, or association.

That’s crazy talk, you say?

That’s what you said when we told you they wanted to repeal your right to self-defense.

And yet, here we are.

So, what do you do? A Majority of Democrats were never made to denounce the position that Antifa should be allowed to use violence to prevent speech they oppose. That’s should still be on the table, but add this.

For years Democrats have suggested gun bans, but now former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens says we need to repeal the second amendment. Do you support that? If not, how far are you willing to go and what assurances after the failures in Parkland can you give your constituents about their safety?

Or something like that.
