Blogline of the Day – the hypocriticalness of the hypocritical Left on guns and voting

obamalogicHolding two different views on essentially the same underlying philosophy:

“My favorite thing about the gun control debate in America is that the exact same people who insist that buying a gun at a store, which at a minimum requires a government-issued ID and background check, is too easy will also tell you that requiring an ID to vote is an impossibly high hurdle to expect average people to overcome.”

Are you really who you say you are” is really the underlying theme in both and the above line (quite true as Progressives have been saying both things for decades) show that it isn’t what they say that it is important, it is the power over you that is important in seeking their dystopian end game.  They wish to punish those, further and further, that only wish to exercise their Second Amendment / Article 2-A Right in making it harder to exercise that Right.  They seek more power by dismissing that same idea, “Are you really who you say you are” in being able to game the votes in the second clause in order to exercise their ability in the first clause.

Consistency, to us on the Right, this isn’t.  However, Progressives, in the pursuit of their end game, see that line as being perfectly well formed, logical, and to be achieved.
