The Democrats are driving their baying hounds to the polls while the GOP sits back and says, Tax Reform

Kurt Schlichter has a new piece at Townhall titled, “The Joy and Necessity of Driving Liberals Nuts,” which is not at all unlike what we do around here. With pleasure, I might add.

But is that all this is? Is our movement simply about slamming the people we’re annoyed at and nothing more?

Of course not.

Napoleon (allegedly) warned that you should never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake, and dismissing your opponent – especially one who snatched away the presidency from The Smartest Women in the History of Ever – is always a grave strategic error. But we can safely discuss it here because they won’t listen.

They can’t listen – to listen to us is to take us seriously and admit to themselves that We The People are a threat to Them Our Betters. … They have to minimize and marginalize us because labelling our rebellion against their self-serving, failed rule a mere temper tantrum allows them to avoid the painful reality that they brought this on themselves because they are terrible.

Bring it they did, but their passion (see also hatred) for us and Donald Trump gives them that Dark Side of the Force advantage. Immediate power with enormous consequences.

We’ve seen it in local and special elections. The Democrats are driving their baying hounds to the polls while the GOP sits back and says, Tax Reform, we did that.

Great. And it is. Tax reform is great. But what have you done for them lately?

Here’s a hint. Voters only care about tomorrow. And tomorrow, if you don’t get them to show up and vote for Republicans, the Democrats will try to stop tax reductions, tax cuts, and regulatory reform. Democrats will try to spend their way to higher taxes and more of them. They will end growth in favor of bigger government at your expense because the government comes first.

You need messaging that educates and informs voters about the future growth you are protecting and enhancing, and what happens to that without Republican majorities in New Hampshire or the nation.

Say it with me. If elected you will fight to protect and expand job-creating tax and regulatory reform. Without Republicans, neither Gov. Sununu nor President Trump can continue to roll back the growth-suppressing size and scope of government.

Republicans trust that their constituents know better than bureaucrats and politician how and where to invest their earnings in bettering their own lives and the lives of those around them. Show them how this is so and you will keep that promise moving forward.

The Liberal progressives hate Trump and Republicans (and you) and believe they know better and will work as hard as they can to take as much money and control from you as possible.

And if you don’t show up to vote, they will do exactly that.

Here’s the entire Schlicter piece. Read it, be amused, but remember to take someone to the polls with you every election and vote to keep the economy growing.
