School Board Meeting Posting

This is the meeting at which the Windham School Board is going to discuss their JBAB policy.  I guess some little birdies told the head honcho that the jig was up on trying to use a smaller room than what might be needed to get the meeting canceled due to [deliberate] overcrowding.  Good for the good guys!

Yesterday, I mentioned that there  is “…a website (think “Roosskies” attacking elections, and you get the picture, perhaps)!” involved in Windham – sorta like what Doug and I used to do here in our town.  We called our’s GilfordGrok and it was dedicated to just those things related to in town. However, there’s one HUGE difference between us and Windham Link To Education – we reported on stuff all year long; it seems they only “come alive” once every couple of years just before an election.  We call them “seagulls” (like some consultants in industry – fly in, drop a load, and fly away).  Yes, they have a few other items like Really Big Building programs – and seem to give the impression that Really Big really should be Really, REALLY Big.

Yet, isn’t a Transgender Policy a really, Really, REALLY Big (I’ll leave out the word that then Veep Joe Biden out) Deal?  And why wouldn’t it comment on what is going on – after all, elections are coming up and coming up soon?

Here’s the actual policy that is at the crux of allowing girls into the boys’ bathrooms and locker rooms and allowing boys to shennigan their way into the girls’ bathrooms and locker room (a Progressive forethough that says “protect ‘the oppressed’ even if we have to inconvenience / punish all the Normals” with not a care  – why not, as they believe they OWN the Moral High Ground (it just shifts around all the time  like slowly morphing quicksand):  School Board Policy BGB: “Policy Adoption” Policy (in essence – actual policy below):

Except for policy actions to be taken on emergency measures, the adoption of Board policies should follow this sequence which will take place at least at two regular or special meetings of the Board:

1. Announcement and publication of proposed new or revised policies as an item of information.
2. Opportunity offered to concerned groups or individuals to react to policy proposals.
3. Discussion and final action by the Board on policy proposals.

And that’s the rub. It wasn’t followed – not in the least.  So where was the School Board toadie website ,  Windham Link To Education, on all this?  Heck, not even a fly-in – not a single ruffled feather. But it does seem that Chair Rob Breton is casting about for a lifeline, a life preserver – ANYTHING except just admitting “we screwed up – and tried to COVER it up”.  What people might do in support of an ideology that many don’t ascribe to; most Normals do NOT want teenaged boys in where their girls may be in a state of undress.

But that’s Progressives fer ya – overthrow ALL decent and traditional social norms, honed over thousands of years in the attempt to “evolve” the rest of us (like it or not). Just look degraded our culture has become from casual sex, stealing or lying (“well, EVERYone does it), pulling a Bill Clinton (“well, EVERYone does it”), to racial re-segregation, that our “melting pot”, “American Exceptionalism”, “hard work”, and traditional mores have come under attack.  Is the culture better now than it was even just 20 years ago?  And Rob Breton wants to mash the accelerator down (having been hectored into this by Keleigh McAllister from what I’m being told).

We all who intently watch politics know that there are few Laws in politics but one of them is this:

It isn’t the wrongdoing – it’s the cover up that does you in

Stick a fork in him and see how toasty he’ll be tomorrow nite with the klieg lites on. Hey Dennis Senibaldi, you’ll be included on this as well!  Hey, Dawn Sawyer, will you be there?

To be continued.

BGB Policy:

POLICY ADOPTION

Except for policy actions to be taken on emergency measures, the adoption of Board policies should follow this sequence which will take place at least at two regular or special meetings of the Board:

1. Announcement and publication of proposed new or revised policies as an item of information.
2. Opportunity offered to concerned groups or individuals to react to policy proposals.
3. Discussion and final action by the Board on policy proposals.

The final vote to adopt or not to adopt should follow by at least two weeks from the meeting at which policy proposals are first placed on the agenda.

1. Prior to enactment, all policy proposals shall be titled and coded as appropriate to subject and in conformance with the codification system used in the Board policy manual.
2. Insofar as possible, each policy statement shall be limited to one subject.
3. Policies and amendments adopted by the Board shall be attached to and made a part of the minutes of the meeting at which they are adopted and shall also be included in the policy manual of the District marked with the date of adoption and/or amendment.
4. Policies and amendments to policies shall be effective immediately upon adoption unless a specific effective date is provided in the adopted resolution.

Emergency Procedure

On matters of unusual urgency, the Board may waive the two-week limitation and take immediate action to adopt new or revise existing policies. When such immediate action is necessary, the Superintendent shall inform concerned groups or individuals about the reasons for this necessity.
