Really, this time, a Quick Thought!
Belmont man was beaten by masked man Sunday
Henry Dionne says three mistakes allowed him to become the victim of a home invasion in which he was kept on the floor and subjected to threats and beatings early Sunday morning. Dionne said he was putting wood into his stove at 2 a.m. when a driveway alarm alerted him that strangers were in the yard. His three mistakes:
He shouldn’t have invited one of them onto his porch.
He should have locked his door.
He should have had a gun in his hand.
Yes, it should have been a DGU (Defensive Gun Use) moment.
