In which Yale Prof. Bandy X Lee practices tele-psychiatry on Trump, against the recommendations of the American Psychiatric Association, and without a license!
“Bandy in the Headlights” shot to temporary fame last week as a willing accomplice to the Lamestream Media’s effort to decry Trump’s swat-downs of “Rocket Boy” as dangerous and insane. Sure enough, just like any lunatic who gets to run the asylum, Li’l Bandy had delusions of competence and visions of grandeur and declared she was able to diagnose Trump from a distance and without the safety net of a license to practice psychiatry, OR prescribe for psychiatric conditions. Her ill-advised utterances, kind of “projectile diagnosis,” drew a reminder from the APA that:
Using psychiatry as a political tool is unethical and unacceptable. https://t.co/m8BPSE6M4Q
— American Psychiatric Association (@APAPsychiatric) January 9, 2018
But that still didn’t stop the intrepid professor who knows nothing about Trump from going on the (liberal) talk show circuit to spout off, declaring (in conjunction with an unnamed colleague) that:
“it’s perfectly OK [for them] to question the president’s mental state,” since they are “psychiatrists.”
Finally, like all good liberals, Bandy tried to erase history once she was called out:
“Yale University psychology professor Bandy Lee has deleted her Twitter account amid mounting allegations that she is not licensed in her home state of Connecticut.”
