The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

by Steve MacDonald

pdf header tax cuts jobs act2If you are on the Andy Sanborn (for Congress) email list, you’ll have received this already. For the benefit of others and the trolls, here is a snippet from his email and a pdf of the highlights of the plan.

Attached is the first release of what the conference committee created and what both the House and Senate will be voting on over the next few days.

As you can see, this plan will benefit the people of NH and put more money back in your pocket.

While it is not perfect, this tax reform will make it much easier to file your taxes and spur on the economy to make sure we create more and new jobs.

My issue with the new tax plan is that they haven’t corrected the problem with the Child Tax Credit. So now instead of $1,000. per kid its $2,000. which means the freeloaders that have 10 rugrats and are “unemployed” and on welfare are still receiving a refund check even without paying income taxes. There is no way on earth that they should be receiving a Child Tax Credit when they are receiving welfare benefits for this same children.
