NH Committee Meets Tomorrow to Decide on Spending Tax dollars for Gender Reassignment

Bearded 'lady' HillaryCornerstone has another update for us on the effort to approve a rule change that would make gender reassignment a covered expense under the Medicaid rules.

The Joint Legislative Committee on Administrative Rules (JLCAR) will consider at its October 19 meeting a rule proposed by the state Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) that would make “gender reassignment” a covered service for minors and adults under New Hampshire’s Medicaid program.

The meeting on Thursday, October 19, is open to the public. It will be held at 9 a.m. in rooms 306-308 of the Legislative Office Building in Concord. Contact information for members is at the end of this post.

Shouldn’t the government stay out..of the bedroom? Will gender reassignment on Medicaid result in them getting off…Medicaid? Since “Gender” is fluid from moment to moment what if our investment in ‘redecorating’ isn’t the look that they’ve been waiting for and are we on the hook for the remodel of the remodel? Are there plans to put taxpayers on the hook for other elective surgeries?
