Las Vegas: Repugnant and Karma

Hayley Geftman-Gold

SHOT:  CBS Legal Exec: No Sympathy For Vegas ‘Because Country Music Fans Often Are Republican.’

A top legal executive at CBS, Hayley Geftman-Gold, said she “is not even sympathetic” for the victims of the shooting at a country music festival at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Sunday night.

“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing,” wrote Geftman-Gold on Facebook, perhaps referring to Sandy Hook. “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”

CHASER: CBS fires vice president who said Vegas victims didn’t deserve sympathy because country music fans ‘often are Republican’

“This individual, who was with us for approximately one year, violated the standards of our company and is no longer an employee of CBS. Her views as expressed on social media are deeply unacceptable to all of us at CBS. Our hearts go out to the victims in Las Vegas and their families,” a CBS spokeswoman told Fox News. Hayley Geftman-Gold, the network’s now-former vice president and senior counsel, took to Facebook after a gunman opened fire at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas, killing at least 59 people and sending more than 520 others to hospitals.

And from the Las Vegas event of this morning, this is hardly the worst of what has been said by our Progressive Totalitarians.  They will use ANY reason, ANY crisis, ANY tragedy to further their political agenda (in this case, complete civilian disarmament and the removal of the Second Amendment.  The problem with this for us all is that one that Right has been removed from the Constitution, we’ll see them start in, with a fury, on another one (as if we couldn’t tell that the First is ALREADY in their sight pictures).  They never tire, they never stop – don’t doubt me. While Republicans were offering up prayers and empathy, the Democrats were not “wasting a crisis” and immediately have politicized the Right to Bear and Keep Arms.
