Eventually, the people will do your work for you. That should be Antifa’s slogan. Because that is, after all, the point of Antifaschistische Aktion. It is also the purpose of Islamofascist terrorism. To make people behave as your ideology requires out of fear and intimidation.
Assumption College in Massachusetts has canceled the appearance of speaker Charles Murray, not because of an actual threat of violence but because of the potential for violence. Antifa could show up to protest Murray’s appearance on campus, and they feel ill prepared for such conflict.
Antifa wins. Professor Bernard Dobski, chair of the Department of Political Science, is not happy about that.
Dobski saw the cancellation as a form of giving into the tactics of Antifa, saying the dis-invitation shows “groups like Antifa that the mere threat of their tactics is enough to cow us into submission.”
“At a time when competition among colleges over a shrinking student population is fierce, the decision to have Dr. Murray on our campus would distinguish us from so many of our regional peers,” Dobski told Campus Reform.
“And we would be giving unwitting support to organizations like the Southern Poverty and Law Center (SPLC), who unjustly smear Murray’s name,” he added, noting that he even wrote to the school’s president to encourage him to move forward with the event.
Supporting Murray is in itself a risk.
When professor Allison Stanger, “a self-proclaimed Democrat who decided to participate in the event to show her dedication to free speech” she was assaulted.
“When I took [Murray’s] right arm both to shield him from attack and to make sure we stayed together so I could reach the car too, that’s when the hatred turned on me,” Stanger recalled. “One thug grabbed me by the hair, and another shoved me in a different direction. I noticed signs with expletives and my name on them.”
Professor Stanger, a Democrat, and a woman ended up in the ER with a neck injury.
As I have long said, there is not one victim class that protects you from the goal of progressive action: ideological supremacy, one party speech, one party rule. Black, red, male, female, foreign, domestic, Christain, Muslim, you are tools for the agenda or enemies of it.

Wake up and speak out before you too are silenced. Or have you already chosen the side of tyranny?
