Again, is it the Democrat Party or the MSM infusing the Democrat Party?

john.kingAs Conservatives, we are used to knowing that the MSM is biased both on the news they report, the way they report it.  However, we generally only hear “oh, we are objective!” knowing full well they are lying through their keyboards.  That said, it has been clear that they have moved on from being the “who, what, where, when, and how” journalism to one of “The Narrative” – what is the end they wish to push and achieve and the articles are written to that standard.  We’ve suspected that for years but this last Prez election, they all seemingly dropped the facade and their red eyes blinked on – and many outwardly said as much.

John King of CNN (I’ve written about his anti-Republicanism non-objectiveness here) let it drop again over the John Comey testimony this week (emphasis mine):

While the Comey hearing into Russia was and remains a big story, CNN’s John King admitted Thursday afternoon that the media will not give much (if any) attention to Jim Comey stating that he was disturbed by then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch telling him in the midst of the Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal that he should refer to it as “a matter,” not “an investigation.”

“A number of significant things. One, this won’t get much attention because it’s in the rearview mirror but a pretty damming account from Jim Comey there about Loretta Lynch, the former Attorney General in the Obama administration and her handling of the Clinton e-mail investigation. It won’t get much attention, but that was pretty damning,” King admitted.

Wowsers!

First, look at the hypocrisy – Loretta Lynch’s attempt to cover up / smooth things over is rearview mirror stuff yet all of this Jim Comey stuff is equally contemporaneous – yet one is a nothing burger and one is on a red hot skillet?  And WHY would that be?

The easy answer is that one is all about Trump and pushing The Narrative that nothing is well with the Trump Administration (and worst, heaping coals of getting him out of the Oval Office) but the other would get current Democrat luminaries and operatives klieg light scrutiny – that the media wishes to shield them from.  Why else the “It won’t get much attention, but that was pretty damning” sentence? And WHY won’t it get much attention?

Oh yeah – people like King determines what story gets attention, how it gets that attention, and from what philosophical bent is presented.  Or not.  King says that this “pretty damning” – yet won’t report on it.

Hypothesis proved – this time, out in the open.

But he’s not the only one in the media does this.  His was a “negative” one.  As I wrote back in 2011, it an also be a “positive” push to slant the news (thank WMUR!):

The worst tonite?  The Faux Outrage Prize goes to Amy Coveno of WMUR Channel 9‘s hissy fit when she decided to follow in her co-fellow reporter (and NH WMUR Prez Debate) Josh McElveen‘s footsteps as he got caught by a couple of Michelle Bachmann supporters while talking after the Debate with the CNN moderator John King; I wrote at the time:

Well, it seems quite obvious that these two chuckleheads have proved my point as in “let’s make the Republicans look petty, argumentative, and start a food fight”.  Thus, instead of merely reporting the news, they were actively trying to make the news, to start the skewing of public opinion.

I’ve got the video of her and will post it tomorrow morning.

Now, I just saw her “live” 11pm report where she said that “things got a little tense” at the press avail.  Listen, Ms. MSM, YOU were the one that got “tense” and way bent out of shape – “a ham-fisted acting job” would be way too nice a way to put it.  Look, lady, you shrilled your way through the question, tried to put words in his mouth, and you got caught.  By a lowly blogger, as you thought that none of your fellow journalists would never tattle on you (actually, they’d help you in your bereavement for getting slapped back).

Democrats with bylines; a truer statement has rarely been said.
