Phishing definition
Phishing is an e-mail fraud method in which the perpetrator sends out legitimate-looking email in an attempt to gather personal and financial information from recipients.
Russians did not hack our US elections. Russians did not direct or alter our elections.
Unidentified persons were phishing for information from election software companies and some individual county election officials using the names of fake companies which could supposedly supply election products to municipalities.
The unidentified persons phishing could have easily been trying to get personal financial information on individuals.
After the arrest of the top security leaker it is apparent, she did not know the difference between hacking and phishing. She thought she had something on President Trump. We now know there was nothing to the “Russian’s hacked our election” fantasy – except the pathological excuses Democrats needed to explain to Democrat donors as to why their money was wasted on a failed candidate.
